Misty Gully Kosher Salt
Misty Gully Kosher Salt is an authentic Premium Koshering Style salt. It does not contain Iodine and occurs as rectangular flakes instead of granules.
As it is a flake it has a much greater ability to absorb moisture from meats than table salt granules. It is primarily used as a drying agent for crafted meats but is also used by chefs where purity of taste is required. Well suited to making Kimchi and German Sauerkraut fermented vegetables as it produces a purer taste than Iodine salt.
Professional meat processors prefer to use Kosher salt when curing meat as it does not add any unnatural flavours to taint their recipes.
