BSO Nevada Pale Ale Recipe Pack

A Sierra Nevada style pale ale all grain recipe using USA Cascade hops to both bitter and create aroma. This beer is malted with a premium two row Pale Ale malt, combined with Caramalt to improve maltiness, and overall flavour. Casade a true USA hop is used to add citrus and floral aromas to the beers aroma profile. It is well suited to American Pale Ales, Amber ales, and IPA. The outcome is a beer with a golden colour, pleasant malt flavour, citrus to flora notes, with a 4.6%ABV and IPA IBU of 43.5.

The full grain kit includes the following -

4.5kg Coopers Pale Ale Malt
500g Joe White Caramalt

Hop Additions

15.0g Cascade – 90 minutes
20.0g Cascade – 60 minutes
50.0g Cascade – 30 minutes
12.5g Cascade – 10 minutes
12.5g Cascade – 0 minutes

Whirlfloc Tablet – 5 minutes

Morgan's American Ale Yeast

Recommended Mash Temperature – 68.5°C

Mash Time – 60 minutes

Recommended Mash Sparge Temperature – 70°C
