Saying all jerky is the same is like saying all beer is the same! Not all jerky meat is hot dried Wyoming style jerky. If you want a change from dehydrated Biltong or Bakkwa then it’s time to make your own Wyoming style jerky with one of our Hi Mountain jerky seasoning and cure kits.

High Mountain offers a range of delicious flavours. Each 200g pack can treat approximately 7kgs of meat. Genuine Wyoming style jerky is nitrate cured and hot smoked at over 740C. You’ve probably heard of Salt Peta which was a common nitrate cure from yester year. Wyoming style jerky is hot cured meat so it has a much longer shelf life than Biltong or Bakkwa.

***This product contains sodium nitrate. Wyoming style jerky is a dried meat product and may contain high levels of meat protein. It may be unsuitable for persons with Kidney Disease or other related disorders.***
