Food Grade Dextrose Monohydrate 25kg
Warwick's Brewing Supplies is offering Food Grade Dextrose Monohydrate in 25kg bags as provided by the manufacturer. It is superior to cane sugar as it is pure D-glucose. It does not contain Fructose which is part of cane sugar Sucrose. Fructose often inhibits the fermentation of malts and can cause stuck brews.
Some home brew supplies such as dextrose are available in a range of grades. Dextrose monohydrate is available as stock feed grade, food grade, and pharmaceutical grade. Genuine food grade Dextrose is often much dearer than feed grade dextrose.
Cheaper stock feed grade dextrose is "not" recommended for human consumption.
Food Grade Dextrose Monohydrate must as a minimum be: lead free, trace element free and contain nil E-coli, Salmonella, and other allergens.
Shelf Life: 12 months if kept sealed in air tight container stored in a cool place below 30°C and protected from light. Do not refrigerate dextrose.
