Brewer's Vinometer
Vinometer from Hambleton Bard England for determining low strength alcohol content of home brew wine, beer, mead, spirit wash. Requires only a very small amount of filtered product to take a reading. Does not require same wastage as a standard alcometer.
Fill the funnel until half full. When six drops exit from stem invert and read across the calibration on the stem. Unlike alcometers this instrument is calibrated for colder temperatures ie: 150C. Product being sampled must be cleared before testing as sediment will produce an incorrect reading.
Fantastic for measuring alchol abv after simmer boiling home brew beer to make zero or low alcohol beer.
